As is the tradition in my family, I ordered my own Christmas present. This time, I went to Carbon Bits - I'd met Richard at the facotry one day, and only heard good things about his work.

Tragically, shortly after I placed my order, he fell ill, and never recovered, and the whole club felt his family's loss. My one regret was that I hadn't ordered something of his sooner so that he might live on in a small way on my car.

Sometime in January, Henrietta gave me a call, and informed me that there were some slight seconds available, and asked me if I would like them. I couldn't say no! They arrived, and were typical RiF seconds (as I understand) - flawless to the naked eye.

They were bolted on the car, replacing the rubber abominations that were nicked off a caravan, and saving something in the region of half a kilo! Bonus. They also look awesome.

Fast forward a little while, and 666 Racing have taken over Carbon Bits, and offered the club a good deal on light blocks for the fogs and indicators too. Not one to miss out on a good offer, I wait patiently for the next bling bits to arrive in the post!
