Well we were not expecting rain, which was only light with a few moments of heavy downpours. It was roof up on the way home, but we really should have taken the half roof off, as it wasn’t too bad.

Good turn out at the Ringlestone and great to see Debbie visiting us all the way from Essex. Surprisingly, there were three people at The Ringlestone who were club members in 1985 and 1986 (Piers, Gary & Julian) who knew Debbie in the good old days. The club back then was very small in comparison to today and everyone knew everybody because of the International Meetings we had every year. These meetings were huge fun to attend and the highlight of the year. However, they required a huge amount of organisation.
